Dear collectors and art lovers
A few more weeks until the annual gisborne artists' society's exhibition at Tairawhiti museum will be on. I am preparing two paintings for this exhibition. I love both of them!
i am also preparing for our art trail, the she shed tour gisborne. this event is just gorgeous and well worth visiting. we are supporting 3 charities this year and one young female high school graduate, who is going to study art with a scholarship. our artists do not have to pay a commission, which means they can keep 100% of their earnings. this is not the way most art events work and really helps our female artists. on sunday 15th November you will be able to visit a huge number of artists gardens, who have their own she shed, where they produce their amazing art. they are joined by other artists, who will show their work in their hosts gardens. Add to this that all gardens are in our beach communities, wainui, okitu and makorori and that we will have some lovely food and coffee carts and you have the receipe for an amazing day out with your arty friends or whoever you would like to take with you.
I also want to remind you to visit my online shop in the menu to get your favourite prints or selected original paintings delivered straight to your door.
This online shop has been something I wanted to do for a long time and going live was a very big step for me, and to be honest, a tad nerve wrecking. But I think it looks pretty good and i'm pleased that it has finally happened. What do you think?
Lastly I want to invite you to join my newsletter below, so I can let you know of news, shows, and other exciting things happening in my life. Please join!
