I am currently creating new work inspired by an ancient art form of painting directly on glass instead of canvas or paper.

 

My hometown murnau in germany was known for hundreds of years to produce High quality hinterglas (behind glass) paintings. It is now a dying artform, but on my last trip back home i was fortunate to be able to Meet with two artists who are still painting hinterglas.
